Find the right size
Hand circumference has long been the easiest way to find the right glove size. One measurement is enough to get close to the right fit.

Hand circumference with tape measure Recommended
Wrap a tape measure around your palm, just below the knuckles, without the thumb. The tape should lie against the skin without squeezing or being loose. Read the measurement in centimeters and enter it in the calculator above.
Measure the hand you use most. It is usually a few millimeters larger than the other.

The table is a guideline. If youâre exactly between two sizes: choose the larger if you plan to wear an inner glove underneath, otherwise choose the smaller.
Measure with string
Donât have a tape measure? A string or a strip of paper works just as well. Wrap it around your palm at the same spot as above, just below the knuckles, without the thumb. Mark where it meets itself.
Place the string straight against a ruler and read the length in centimeters. Enter the measurement in the calculator above.
A string can stretch or slip a little during measurement. It's a good idea to measure twice to be sure.
Print and measure
Print this page to get a control line to measure against. First, make sure the printer is set to 100% scale (not "fit to page"), otherwise the measurements will be incorrect.
Place your hand flat on the paper with fingers together and thumb out. Trace the outline around the hand. Then measure the width across the knuckles (the widest point, excluding the thumb) against your printed check line or a ruler, and compare with the table under "Hand circumference with tape measure."
Compare with a glove that already fits
Do you have a glove at home that you know fits well? Lay it flat on a table. Measure the width straight across the palm, at the widest point, excluding the thumb.
Multiply the measurement by about 2 for an approximate hand circumference, and compare with the table under "Hand circumference with tape measure" or the calculator at the top.

Our childrenâs gloves are categorized by age rather than hand circumference.

If the child is between two ages: choose the larger size. The hand grows, and a glove that fits a bit loosely will last longer.
