Shipping terms and returns

Shipping and Return Policy – Myr Outdoor

This policy applies to all purchases via myroutdoor.se. We comply with applicable consumer legislation, including the Distance Contracts Act (DAL) and the Consumer Purchase Act (KKL).

1. Shipping & Delivery

  • Shipping within Sweden: Shipping cost is calculated by weight (e.g., up to 2 kg: currently 96–150 SEK). The final cost is shown at checkout before payment.
  • Shipping within the EU and internationally: Cost is shown at checkout. Any customs, taxes, and import fees are paid by the customer.
  • Tracking: All shipments are sent with tracking. A tracking link is sent via email when the package leaves our warehouse.
  • Delivery time: Normally 1–3 business days within Sweden, 3–10 business days internationally. Times are indicative.
  • Split delivery: We can split an order at no extra cost to you if items are backordered.
  • Delay: In case of significant delay, you have the right to cancel the purchase.

2. Right of Withdrawal & Open Purchase

Right of withdrawal (14 days): You always have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal from the day you receive the item. Notify us via the contact form or hej@myroutdoor.se.

Open purchase (30 days): In addition to the right of withdrawal, we offer a 30-day open purchase. Goods must be in substantially unchanged condition, meaning unused, undamaged, and in saleable condition with the original packaging.

Depreciation deduction: If the item has been handled more than necessary, we may make a deduction corresponding to the item's depreciation.

3. How to return

  1. Contact us via “Contact us” and provide the order number for return information.
  2. Print and attach the shipping documents we send (if applicable). Pack the item well.
  3. Submit the package according to the instructions. Keep the receipt and tracking number.

4. Return costs

  • Within Sweden: Return fee is deducted from the refund (currently 79 SEK up to 2 kg, 250 SEK for 2–5 kg).
  • Within the EU & USA: The customer pays return shipping directly to the carrier.
  • Partial return: A return fee is charged even for partial returns of an order.

5. Size exchanges

We offer one (1) free size exchange within Sweden per order, provided that the item is returned unused and within the return period. Additional exchanges are charged according to our regular terms.

6. Refunds

  • Refunds are made via the same payment method used at purchase.
  • Returns are processed within 2–7 business days after arrival at our warehouse.
  • Refunds are made only after we have received the item or you have shown proof that it has been sent back.
  • The bank's processing may cause the refund to take a total of 5–30 business days.

7. Complaints & transport damages

  • Right of complaint: 3 years according to KKL for original defects. Complain within a reasonable time (within 2 months is always considered on time).
  • Action: Repair, replacement, or refund. Deductions may be made for use/wear according to law.
  • Transport damage: Report the damage directly to the carrier and to us within 7 days. Keep the packaging and take photos.
  • Cost: Approved complaints are covered by us.

8. Change or cancellation of order

An order placed can normally not be changed. Contact hej@myroutdoor.se immediately if the order has not yet been shipped. An order can be canceled before delivery; otherwise, you must wait for the package and return it according to our policy.

9. Unclaimed package

For unclaimed packages, a fee of 150 SEK is charged to cover shipping and handling costs. If you have canceled the purchase, you need to pick up the package and return it according to the return policy.

10. Personal engraving & customization

Products with personal engraving or customizations are excluded from the right of withdrawal according to Section 11 of the Distance Contracts Act. Engraving constitutes a permanent alteration to the product and therefore it cannot be returned, exchanged, or canceled once work has begun.

  • Proofreading: Check spelling and placement carefully. Once engraving work has started, the order cannot be canceled.
  • No returns: Since the product cannot be restored, neither open purchase nor right of withdrawal applies.
  • Damage: Attempts to remove or alter engraving are considered damage and may result in a depreciation deduction of up to 100%.
  • Complaint: Applies only to original defects or if engraving does not match the approved proof. Variations in color/depth depending on material are considered normal.

11. Limitation of liability, pricing errors & force majeure

  • Limitation of liability: We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages unless gross negligence or intent is involved.
  • Pricing errors: We reserve the right for obvious price and typographical errors. In case of errors, you will be contacted before the order is shipped.
  • Force majeure: We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., strikes, government decisions, natural events).

12. Deliveries outside the EU

The customer is responsible for all local fees, customs, and VAT on deliveries outside the EU. These costs are not reimbursed by Myr Outdoor.
