Small plates on the fire
Small patches over an open fire is a height, use cast iron pan or plate iron. Top with maple syrup and balance the sweet with pork, bacon or fried fungus. Prepare the batter at home and bring in thermos.Total success!
Ingredients
2 ½ dl wheat flour
6 dl milk
2 eggs
½ teaspoon salt
1 tbsp melted butter
1 pkt bacon/side pork or a couple of fists of any fungus.

Cooking
1. Take half of the flour in the milk and whisk to a lump -free batter. Add the remaining milk, eggs, salt and butter and whisk together. The texture should be much like film milk, slightly thinner. Allow to soak for about 10 minutes.
2. Heat the frying pan with butter. Then fry the plates for a few minutes on each side. Add a new click of butter and repeat until all plates are fried.
3. Break -down bacon, side pork or mushrooms, salt and pepper the mushrooms.
Some extra tips on the road
- Fry in real butter - it does wonders for both taste and appearance.
- If you really like leafy pancakes, you use a little batter and pour in the frying pan. Then wiggle out the batter in the pan so it just covers the bottom and fry to the batter on the top has solidified and then turn on the pancake.
