It took us a few mistakes to get here. We have had gloves that were too thin, too bulky, too cold, too stiff, and above all – that did not deliver what they promised. You learn the hard way what is really required of a winter glove.
Nordfjäll Finger Gloves are the result of all these lessons. These are gloves for you who ski, ride snowmobiles, work outdoors, or just want something that works – day after day, season after season.
Our hands are important. They must keep warm, stay dry, and be able to grip ski poles, firewood, or the handlebar of a snowmobile. After years of frustration and improvements, we believe we finally have something that works.
Warmth
You've stood with cold fingers on the ski slope, cursing gloves that promised to be "warm." We have tested thick models that felt like hockey gloves and thin models that gave up at the first frost night. Until we found the right one.
- Multiple insulating layers – We have chosen a combination of materials that lock in body heat without becoming bulky.
- Breathable lining – A glove must not only be warm, it must also be able to release moisture. Otherwise, you get cold from the inside.

What about waterproofness?
We know exactly how it feels when a glove soaks up moisture like a sponge. At first, it feels okay, but after an hour your fingers are soaking wet and then it's over. So we decided to solve it – once and for all.

- Treated leather – The leather is treated to resist moisture and not absorb water.
- Snow lock and snug cuff – No water in, no heat out. A simple but important detail.
We have tested these in wet snow, rain, and slush. They hold up.

Seams burst, fingertips wear down, and palms look like an old dishcloth after a season. Sounds familiar, right? This needs extra care and that is exactly what we have done.

A glove that fits poorly is a glove that ends up in the backpack. We have tried models that pressed too hard over the wrist, that were too stiff, too short, too long. So we developed a model that actually feels good to wear.
