Waterproof gloves
Gloves are a really difficult product to get good as they are exposed to much movement and wear. After almost 1 1/2 years with countless thoughts, interviews, sketches and prototypes, we have produced a really rugged winter glove that we believe will meet our amendments. We have used oversized materials and we have tried to think in every way to create this wear horse. The glove is dressed in waxed sailing cloth and goatskin to withstand hard external impact and an intermediate layer of a waterproof membrane closes the water outside. Against the hand you will find a nice and soft padding of fleece and thinsulate feed that keeps your hand warm on cold days.
The market's toughest all -round gloves?
Arvidsjaur Mitts is a 3 -season winter glove designed to keep really hard treatment - for real. To the appearance like any good glove, but the big difference is in the membranes. Partly that the glove is very durable, but also that it is completely waterproof (not hipora membrane-water repellent) but 100% waterproof. The different layers in the glove are the difference from a traditional glove and below we describe the differences:-
Outer layers (outside)
Walked sailing cloth* (Boumllscanvas) and goatskin, makes it hold for external influences in the form of grater, wear and scraping against the outer side of the gloves.
*Canvas is a very durable and durable coarse wire that has been around for hundreds of years. Canvas was made up from the beginning largely of hemp, but now it is usually made of cotton, also occurs in linen and jute. Another name for Canvas is sail cloth, as it is used for the manufacture of sails because of its durability and durability.
-
Medium layer
100% hermetic thermo-polyrite membrane which is completely water repellent (you can dip the glove under water) on the glove's top against the knuckles you will find extra upholstery (10 mm) and a heat-preserved shield of metal foil.
-
Insulation
Warm and comfortable Thinsulate Foods that insulate your hands down to -25 degrees (you need even more heat - supplement with an innervante)
Sailing cloth on the outside
Sailing cloth is a severely coarse -wire fabric used for sailboat sail, usually made on a cotton base. It also goes by the term canvas fabric. By stopping this on the outside of the glove, you get a very wear and tear surface that can handle (almost) all kinds of hard. Sailing cloth is our signature on marsh because it holds so incredibly well. In addition, the fabric is severely waxed into beeswax, this keeps the mate away.
Sailing cloth can withstand hard treatment
Are the gloves really completely waterproof?
In short, yes. The gloves of the gloves have a waterproof membrane. As long as this is not worn or cut, the diaphragm of the glove remains completely hermetically. That is, completely waterproof. You can thus keep the glove under water as long as you want - water will not penetrate and your hand is kept completely dry. The padding between this layer and the outer layer will be wet so this needs to be dried properly after the end of the day. See more under Care advice.
